Hi, I'm Katie, the owner of Honey Badger Billing. I have over 15 years of medical billing experience in a variety of specialties. I began billing for a large family practice clinic and quickly became the billing supervisor overseeing the revenue cycle for family practice, podiatry, internal medicine, mental health, X-Ray and on-site lab testing for 8 years. Once the practice was sold, I began billing for a orthopedic surgery practice and quickly became the billing manager. I spent 5 years managing all billing aspects from negotiating new payer contracts to registration, benefit investigations, authorizations, coding, billing and AR follow up until the owning provider retired.  This allowed me to branch off and start my own medical billing practice in 2023 and I have been helping others streamline their revenue processes and maximize reimbursement ever since!
